I ordered the car in March and after three months of waiting (which included an extra week for my salesperson to return from vacation) I finally got my 991. I am really quite pleased with the improvements over the past Porsches I've had. I had two GT3's which were much rawer but this car seems to do everything better with greater ease. The shifter is much shorter and I got all the performance options except the power kit. I decided against the new GT3 because I think that it is truly a track beast where the previous iterations could be DD. I got the black PDLS/bi xenons which work really well with the flat black. It also got it tinted, so I think the overall look is very tough especially with the black interior. A few options: PDCC, Pasm, Sports Chrono, 7MT, PSE, spacers, clear side lights, Premium plus, sport design steering wheel, sunroof delete, bose.

I took my Austin-Healey out for a drive today with no problems at all with weather. Shipping her up to VT in 4 weeks so I can really enjoy top-down driving on winding country hills for a few months in gorgeous mountain weather. Can't wait! Best part is that when that trip is over and I ship my car back to Miami, my new 2014 C2S will be waiting for me. It's all good.

 

Have yet to see black lights on a black 991 that looks great! Enjoy it!
