Power Steering Plus ?needed

I am trying to see if I really need this option vs regular power steering?
anyone has driven them both?

Also, I did look at sport design steering wheel vs multifunction steering wheel, the sport design wheel was actually thinner than the multifunction one !!!

I have owned them both on a 991. HATED the PS Plus, like driving a Lexus...

I don't have it, but I've never felt I need the steering to be any softer when parking, etc.

I drove at time of ordering and passed on it. There's artificial transition from slow to higher speeds which felt just awful to me in a sports car!

I had an 07 cayman S and it didn't have any assist. However my 991 does have it and I honestly don't notice it. Car drives so nice and frankly i'm so happy to have the 991 that I cant find anything wrong with it.

I have it and like my steering a lot. I don't notice anything, it just always feels right.

Same here. Drove cars back to back with and without and couldn't tell. At first, had a lot of heartburn about the car I wanted having it, but in the end, can't tell and am thrilled with the car.

I never had it until last week and would not order it . I bought a Boxster S off the showroom floor and the car had this option . I do not love or dislike it . I am indifferent .

Dont bother. Tried both and I could not feel any difference. Left it off my build.

Psp comes standard on GT3 but it must have been tuned differently or have different results/feelings when coupled with electromechanical power steering with variable steering ratio instead of power assisted steering with variable steering ratio on regular Carreras.

My 991 don't have psp but I don't recall anything different driving one with psp. At parking speed when I do noticed it is feather light and that shouldn't be the disadvantage.

Tried both. Unless you have a very weak person driving the car you don't need it and it provides a very false, "Lexus" feel at very low speeds.
