Help!!! Negotiating now!!
Yeah, that helps me realize what a schmuck I am. I didn't shop and got a paltry 2%. Damn! You'd think I'd have learned by now!
There was some trunk cash on the leftover 2012's back in novermber. Not sure if it was like 3k or 6k but either way they do provide incentive to move along old stock. 7-9% is a good deal. Some have claimed to get 10% but those deals are few and far between.
Discounts vary for various reasons doesn't mean it's the norm. The Porsche business model is based on margin and not volume like BMW, Mercedes etc. If Porsche was based on volume then everyone would be driving one and resale values would suck.
Got 4% and a great trade
I got the 4% last spring year when the 991s was just out. Since then Porsche has raised the base prices and option prices, so it just kind of seems like a game where they get you to think it's a better deal, but it's just the same deal.
I've got as much as 20% off with some miles for a 997.2s in 2009 at the height of the financial mess. Got 5% off a 2011 Cayanne s, again before the prices were raised. Just picked up a platinum edition panamera at 7%. Great car, it really grows on you.
