Anybody have a photo of "Luggage net in passenger footwell"

Does anybody have a photo of this option in the configurator?

Luggage net in passenger footwell

I don't believe that was an option when I ordered in January 2013. I'm looking for more storage options. What does this luggage net do? Can it be ordered as an add-on accessory?

I don't know what is so difficult about going online and see for yourself in the 3D configurator, but hey... Here you go!

I think it you should be able to install it afterwards. It's just a little net that that's attached to the transmission tunnel.

seems pretty wimpy and probably a grand +requires "professional install"
I suppose you could stick a small gun in there, but who wants to drive with a women packin' (or a guy)?

It's a free option so if you don't like it, leave it. If you like it, take it. Simple as that.

You don't often hear the words "free" and "Porsche" in the same sentence. Thought I was having a stroke for a moment there!

I didn't even mention:
- deletion of model designation
- model designation "911"
- smoking package
- Instrument dials in black

These are all (sit down...) FREE options!!

I'll bet that the net cannot be put into cars that don't have them without changing out the entire carpeted area it's attached to. Probably the parts and labor will run a couple of hundred bucks.

This may be true. I found out that to put the "free" cigarette lighter in post production costs about $250.

Why?? 4 short self-tapping screws to attach that thing to the center tunnel.... (Guess the screws are underneath the detachable trim of the net)
Can't be that difficult IMO... But the net won't be free I guess.

Seen simular aftermarket luggage-nets in car-part shops for let's say $15.00. Of course not in Luxor Beige

Yep, my bad. I only checked the 2D configurator and didn't see it there.

Not worth adding on given what Porsche will charge. Wish they had it when I ordered, or maybe I missed it.

It's one of the things that came with MY2014. Don't know why they didn't have it before. In the Boxster and Cayman it was standard from the moment the cars were introduced as far as I know.

BTW, the 2D configurator is rubbish. I never use it to be honest. It doesn't show any details.
