PCM Update: rock solid temp reading

It's 93 F (34.6c?) here and the pcm was just updated.

I noticed something strange after a few miles, the temp reading was a solid and steady 194F (90c), did not change at all; reached operating temp and stopped, did not go up or down.

Oil temp varied up to 238f and as low as 202f.

Anyone else see this?

This is the water temp or outside temp?

My water temp doesn't fluctuate much at all. I'll check next time I'm out, but I'm pretty sure mine almost never changes once the engine is fully warmer.

Outside temp? Hell, that goes everywhere.

My water temp is at a solid 200F and I don't think I have ever seen it vary.

I'm at 208 most of the time, and up to 230 when I beat on her.

To add to the thread, my water temp stays steady at 200f no matter if I am in standard, Sport or Sport+.

This is just a simple observation, nothing to be concerned about. Now my oil temp will fluctuate depending on which mode I am in. I expected this to a degree (pun not intended), but not the difference. Traveling to North Carolina, doing 75mph on I-75 in standard mode, oil temp is at 232F. Just to see how much it changes, I put the car into Sport mode. After a few minutes it finally settled at 203F, while still running at 75pmh in 7th gear. I do have the third radiator with the X51. I am just curious as to how much of a change anybody else sees without the third radiator, and what does everybody else's temp show as well.

Oil temp will vary. Sport and Sport+ appears to cool the oil even without an additional radiator

Yes it does. That much I knew, but what does your oil temp show? Does your car show the same temp without the third radiator?

I have noticed another odd occurrence since the computer update. MPG increase in My normal non WOT light foot driving. A daily commute yields 28 Mpg over a 15 mile hilly ride. This is up 5 mpg. Same ambient temp. Same tire pressure. WOT mileage remains the same

May 3 or 2013?

What's in the update? Mine is a January 21 Build.
