Cargraphic vs. FVD X pipes

After analyzing many options and opinions (as many of you guys have seen in the forums and helped me a lot), I got to the conclusion that the best exhausts for my C2S with PSE are:

1. Cargraphic Center Silencer Replacement X

2. Fvd Center Muffler Bypass 911 2012+ (991) "Brombacher" with ValvesBES99115000SKR BES 991 150 00SKR

The videos really doesn't show the real sound at all, at least what I could listen is that Fvd sounds a bit like muscle car and Cargraphic doesn't really increase the sound that much compared to PSE.
But as I said, that's just IMHO based on the few videos they are on the web.
I hope my perception is wrong, and If you can help me make up my decision based in your own experience.

they are almost exactly the same.

Both are extremely loud when the valves open up.

there is a huuuuuge difference in sound levels. I'll post up video of my Cargraphics setup when I get a chance. Keep in mind I don't have PSE so the valve operation is a bit different.

Hi, I don't have PSE either. But by pushing the SPORT button, the exhaust note changes. So with the Cargraphic center muffler, are we still able to do that or is it always loud?

At idle, you'll notice that the tach jumps a little. This changes what you hear but doesn't affect the valves in the exhaust, they are fully open at idle.

When you're driving, the Sport and Sport Plus buttons do very little to the exhaust note. When you are under throttle and you are either under 5mph or over 3300 rpm, the valves open up. Works the same in Normal/Sport/Sport Plus.

Thanks, I'd love to see the video, is this model the exact Cargraphic exhaust you have? Did you add side mufflers or headers as well?
I'm thinking just to begin with x pipe silencer, then maybe headers.
If their sound are almost exactly the same, I'd go for Cargraphic, a bit less expensive.

Interesting, anyone figure out how to leave the valves open all of the time? This is a common mod on BMWs (golf tee mod) and the sound was great and OEM. It was also easy to do and free.

With an aftermarket x-pipe, you do NOT want to do this as they drone like crazy in the 2500-3000 range.

You can do it by just disconnecting the vacuum hoses and plugging them.

I'd like to listen to an x-pipe in person before making that decision. Meanwhile, I'll look around for the vacuum hoses and give that a try, thanks.

Thank you for the response. But I am still unclear. I have a Carrera S with regular exhaust system. I only have the "SPORT" button. When I push it, the exhaust got louder. Does that mean the valve is open or closed?
2nd question. So with the Cargraphic center muffler. Am I still be able to open/close the valve by pushing the SPORT button? I would like to be able to control it and not have it loud always.

I believe the "sport" button increases the interior noise levels due to the "sound symposer" which pipes in sound through the rear deck from the engine compartment into the interior of the car. I don't think this changes the actual outside exhaust sound.

Again, no. The valves are not affected by the sport button.

under 5 MPH and over 3300 rpm the valves open.

You are hearing the sound symposer and the increase in idle speed.

How is your Fvd? Are you happy with it? Is it what you expected?
