991 TT Build thoughts?
991 TT Build thoughts?
Ok, posted this in TT section, but not much traffic over there. Comments/suggestions welcome, I have until 9/20 to lock it in so I'm predictable waffling quite a bit, mostly just on exterior color. Went from GT Silver back to white.

I like white as well, my 2014 GT3 will be white.
The factory fire extinguisher is very small and the bracket is plastic, there are much better options in the aftermarket that are both larger and higher quality.
With the full red interior you might consider doing the seat backs in leather as the backs of the seats are a grey that doesn't match any of the other interior finishes.
On a Turbo, especially a nice build like yours I'd consider one of the door sill upgrade options. Under "Interior Aluminum" you can find the basic Door-sill guards in Stainless Steel, no frills just nice compared to the basic option. You could opt for the lighted stainless one if you prefer that.
Regardless of your tweaks, it's going to be a very, very nice car.

Is there another choice for the mirrors? Those (the ones depicted) are thought to cause problems with the cabin pressurization with the windows down.

The folding mirrors have buffeting issues (painful on the track), I'm hoping the sport design do not.
OK, I know it is a problem just wanted to point it out. I have a 991 S and your build would be my Dream Car. I would love the hell out of it for the couple weeks I was able to keep my licence. Enjoy it.
I know, looks great, but I don't want the PCCBs or the center locks, so Turbo S isn't worth it for me.
