underbody panel?

yesterday i was driving on the highway, i hit an object on the highway doing about 70 mph, there was a loud bang, then i looked in my rear view mirror, a few pieces of large white objects flew out behind my car, nearly hitting a few cars behind me. I thought for sure it was my tech art bodykit, the front bumper spoiler was probably gone. Pulled over, everything looked fine, i looked underneath, didnt see anything unusually, though i dont know how it should look anyway. A car behind me pulled over as well, said they debris was definitely from my car.
My question is, if they were underbody panels, where they painted in white(body color??) or did i just hit a white plastic object on the road?

Sounds like you just hit something white.. I doubt if someone behind you who saw something flying up (only after you hit it) would have any clue if it was from your car or not.. Probably just drawing a conclusion based on car color...

Assuming you can't find any body parts missing, it sounds like a coincidence that your car is white and and so is what you hit..

Thanks, i hope so. Yea there is not visible damage or missing parts on the outside, underneath the car looked fine as well... i doubt they paint the parts underneath with bodycolor.
