Ordered C2S, finally!
IMHO the weakness in the Bose is in the midrange. Piano and vocals get real harsh at volume.
I think the 18way seats are popular for those that need the side support. I don't need that and fit in the standard and 14 way seats just fine.

Thanks Money,
I think you make some good points.
In terms of the Bose, I've heard all of the negatives. My view on that is that I don't care about the stereo as much as I used to. So the 3k hike for the Burmester didn't make sense for me, but I get why it would for an audiophile. Don't get me wrong, I still listen to music all of the time, and even very loudly. But it's very secondary to driving the car in this case. Also, you might as well order it if you want Sirius/XM and HD radio etc.
Premium Pckg Plus: overpriced but I wanted the keyless entry, which I've become accustomed to. If it was a separate option I'd forgo the package. Memory is super important where I live because you always have to valet (which I hate). I don't want anyone driving my car wether it costs $10k or $100k. But the valets always change your settings.
Power folding mirrors: again it's a function of the parking situation. However, I may change this because they look so good. But then again, this would fall into the "fluff" that was mentioned earlier.
ParkAssist: Non-negotiable. You need it. In fact, if they had the camera option, I'd go for that.
Sport Design front fascia: I love this but pricey since it's only cosmetic. If my budget was higher I would do it. Not the biggest fan of the ducktail so i'd stick iwth the front.
All that said, it's amazing how many combinations are possible. I used to judge people for the options they ordered or didn't ordered but I see how agonizing it is. Each person has unique needs, tastes, and budgets.

Brad,
Thanks. I tried to get all the performance options that I thought were important. The sunroof to me adds weight, but I love the contrasting look and it's pretty important in a place like SoCal. The LED is tough. For now I added it, but I may still remove it. It's coming down to how the car will look in 5-6years when more 991's and future generations have LED headlights. I plan to keep this car a long time.

Actually what I like least is they seem to take a few inches off the interior height...
But of course, it's all about what ya want... So I'm no one to talk . Paying for pse just to make more noise seems silly to my wife, lol
-Regarding the LED lights
My salesman was telling me when he went to test drive the new Panamera for a Porsche event , they actually had a demonstration of the effectiveness of the LED lights.
He told me 3 objects (log, deer, person in that order) were put at a certain distance all incrementally apart.
First, the a car with normal halogens came up and lit up the first object and part of the deer successfully.
The car with the xenons came up and it lit up the log and the deer successfully.
The car with the LEDs came up and lit up all three objects successfully and the dispersion of the light was spread not only further, but wider too.
I assumed that the LED's were marginally better then the xenons. I guess I was wrong and unfortunately I cannot change my order anymore since its at the dock waiting to be transported. However, if I had to do it over again I would get the LED's in a heartbeat. Not only do they look cool but I think its a huge safety benefit too.

No worries. I didn't take it as a knock at all
I love all of this input. I was just saying how I used be so critical when I casually read this forum, but now I understand how it is.

So after reading all the PDK vs MT posts, I thought I'd make myself feel better by driving a PDK equipped C2S. My impression was that it is an impressive transmission. The shifts are unnaturally quick. I had to reprogram my brain to not lift off the accelerator when shifting. Obviously, if you want the car in sport plus in the city, you have to shift yourself. As good as the transmission is, I still like manual. So I'll stick with my order. Basically, can't go wrong either way.
Also, of note, the car I drove had the SPASM with the plastic front lip. That thing is low and even though the car was new, it already had scrapes. One thing to consider for those who want the Sport Design front fascia is the cost of fixing that lower lip which is body colored. The standard plastic one is a relatively cheap fix.
