One of the best color combinations, works so well with the wheels as well. IMHO Porsche aerokit makes the car look how it should look as a real sports car in the first place. Enjoy it in happy days...

Around here most 911 S will depreciate around $35,000 after one year and around 5,000 miles. I know I looked at several of them and bought the one in the best condition and the best features. But yes they do depreciate a lot and you appear to think you are the only one aware of this. What difference does it make to someone who plans on keeping a car for as long as it will drive how much it drops in value the day you drive it off the lot? A 175 K Carrera, GT3 or TTS will all be worth close to nothing someday.

This is not really complicated. Joe bought a really nice car is very excited about it and wants to share his enthusiasm. Most of us have been in the same shoes and appreciate the enthusiasm. Sadly this is the internet and there are always a few who either like to be negative and or just have zero social skills.

Joe, awesome car. Love the front bumper. You should look into getting a GT3 spoiler put on! I'm considering adding the areokit front and getting a gt3 spoiler on back. You would essentially have an AWD GT3! Did I miss the interior pics btw? I thought I looked through this whole thead.

Also, since you have the x51, you should do something to separate your car from regular Carreras even more (IMO). Maybe get a custom Carrera 4RS badge or vinyl on the side or something. I think that would look pretty cool. Just a thought.

 

Serious??? It's a 911... That's an enthusiast's car, not a poser's car. GT3 wing on a C4S says "Look at me... I couldn't afford a real GT3, but I could afford the wing!"

To each their own of course, but I think the car looks just right, the way it looks now.

Well considering Joe's car is far more expensive than a GT3, and it sounds like he drives it like a GT3, I thought it would be suiting. Just my opinion of course.
If adding a wing is poser, then I'm a poser. I know I can afford a GT3, but I need the back seats and daily drivability (and I don't really care what others think). I would personally get a GT3 wing because I like the wing, not because I'm trying to have a GT3...

I forgot indeed the fact that a GT3 is so cheap in the US... Over here, Joe's car would still be pretty far off a GT3.

I can relate to the fact of the backseats. I wouldn't want to miss those either. And of course if you like the GT3 wing, you need to get it. It's your car and it has to make you happy. Not me
I wouldn't care about other people's opinions either. Kudos for that!
I personally am not a fan of big wings on roadcars. The Turbo is just at my limit.

Unfortunately, Porsche does not think convertible = track car.
