Congrats on the car. I'm in the Dallas area a lot for work and always see nice cars everywhere.

Fantastic build! Aerokit, X51 and PCCB are a great addition.

My only question, why no sunroof? I know it can be very personal and you stated that you may not go to the track. Just curious.

Happy travels...

FYI, here's a couple of mods that I did to the exterior of my agate: painted tail pipes black with high heat paint, plasti dipped emblem, painted reflectors body color, painted windshield sprayers body color. Oh, and I had the entire car wrapped. I think the black look goes really well with agate.
Per the owner's manual (which I was reading again last night) there is no user control over PDCC whatsoever. See here:

Joe,

That's a real beaut. From my test drives I agree with your observations about normal mode v sport v sport plus. In normal mode the car's a snooze, sport wakes it up, sport plus is bananas.

I get mine tomorrow morning, and I'll post a few pics tomorrow night.

Enjoy in good health!

On further review, it's hard to refute Joe's photo evidence that the button with the shock absorber pic on it is indeed labelled PDCC. In the online manual, that's referenced (without the PDCC label) as the button used to switch between PASM modes (see page 165 of the link.) Inquiring minds wonder if Porsche actually changed the underlying software, or if putting PDCC on the button makes sure that resold cars are properly "labelled" as having PDCC or not.

Thanks.

I didn't get the sunroof, because I would never use it.

Congratulations on yours arriving tomorrow! I hope you can sleep tonight.

Something funny happened today. After about 200 miles on the car, it feels a lot more powerful. Even normal mode seems powerful. Especially if I gear down. I don't know why the it would be more powerful. Maybe it isn't. It feels a lot faster today, than it did yesterday. I now have over 300 miles on it. I am loving this car more and more.

How'd you know I wouldn't sleep? 4 hours, followed by 3 of tossing and turning. I leave in an hour.

Engine is breaking in my friend..this gets better and better to a level that it's sublime. I actually notice that engine feels more at ease beyond 5K rpm, like it's right at home. There's a marked difference in smoothness when it's properly warmed up at/beyond 150F oil temp.

I'm hoping you're taking good camera with you on the road trip? Take lots of good photos!
