I have always been a black sports car fan but Agate with those wheels makes me second guess my choice.
When I read 175k I thought what kind of ridiculous options would you have to put in the car to get to that price. After looking at your build I don't think any of your options are ridiculous. Very, very nice car.

The Porsche stock brakes are awesome. Hard to know if these stop better or not. They look cool. They won't heat up. The don't produce brake dust like the standard ones do. I may not have to replace them for the life of the vehicle (If I don't track the car). I am very happy that I chose to get them.

I really didn't want the turbo. If I decide I want one, I will buy one. I think the Turbo is awesome, but: I really don't want 4 wheel steering and I like the looks better of mine than the way the new turbo looks. New turbo looks like a regular carrera (no aerokit) unless it is going fast enough for its automatic spoilers to engage.
Nice build and beautiful car, but you think this:
Looks just like this? Sorry, can't agree with you on that. Porsche is not about bolt on, weight adding aerokits anyways. I doubt anyone buys the Turbo on looks alone in the first place. I know I didn't. It was the acceleration, sub 3 second 0-60 times, handling, and the 210 additional HP over a Standard Carrera that got me. Turbos have never been intended to be radically different in appearance from the regular Carrera in the first place. They are all about power and performance in a very subtle wrapper. Anyone that knows the Marque can tell a Turbo from a standard Carrera a mile away, regardless of what generation it comes from.

Hey Joe,
I also have the Aerokit Cup and X51.
Only thing wish Porshe would have offered, or a good aftermarket design, is an effective mesh grill insert (like the GT3) to keep road debris, bugs, leaves etc. from accumulating in the intake and impacting the radiator(s) fins.
If you find a good solution, do share!
Enjoy the car. It's a stunner!!!

Nice build and Congratulations! Confirms that I made the right decision going with Agate Grey. The aero kit is definitely not my style but great call on the power kit. Enjoy that 6k road trip when you take it!

Some of us have bought a metal screen and made our own. Look at the dyi section, sm_atl posted directions along with a template. I did it, easy install and you don't have to take the bumper off. Pretty cheap too.
