Saw the turbo S in person

Went to the dealer to check the rattling sound in the car last night.
Saw the new Turbo S in person for the 1st time. Two of them. Both were ordered/sold already. Very nice, very very nice.
The dealer told me that like GT3 and 50th ann edition, those will only be special ordered cars. So what if I want to test drive one before deciding to buy or not? out of luck?

Such a great looking car. Not a fan of those wheels though.

Yeah, I just noticed, too. Weird thing is, both Turbo S has the Turbo wheels.
one is priced at $210,000, the other is $190,000.

Probably because they ordered without center locks. I'd love to drive one. Don't think I could justify the purchase no matter how hard I'm trying!

991 is a great platform to build a Turbo from..... However, the car has lots of bugs like squeaky roof to heater not working, etc....

You can have your fancy lifts and tiled floors. But no garage (residential or professional) is complete without a milk crate.

Ha, Ha just noticed the red crate in the third pic. What a good looking car, I usually don't like the girth of the back end but this one makes me want to take that rump out for a ride.

I saw a turbo tonight at the Porsche Palooza. It looks way better in person. Some how though, it looks much taller than my car, and not as long. I know it is my eyes playing tricks on me. Don't get me wrong, it looks tough. Those vents on the sides really make it look mean. The rear spoiler is way better looking in person too. I suspect though that he had it parked with the spoiler in the up position. It looked higher than I think it would look in the normal at rest position.

My 2 cents:

1. That extra wide body would make kim k blush. It almost as wide as the mirrors. I wish they would have made the front slightly wider to balance it out.
2. The wheels are just ok. Gonna need to call hre.
3. The louvers over the engine cover are awesome. Maybe it will fit a carrera.
4. The exhaust sound is much improved vs the 997 however for $200k i want perfection

From photos I've seen they are "high riders"...way too much wheel gap
compared to GT3

For that money id rather get a used 458 or 430 Scud. Unless I was going to use it as my DD, then its perfect. LOL.
