That would be nice...I had 2 services done on mine. One in Michigan cost $1800 and one done in Scottsdale AZ which was $2300 Also I was paying just under $1k per year for full coverage w/$500 deductible. I had a '07 997 turbo before my '09 Vantage....I really liked the Vantage, it drew tons of attention though (good or bad...you decide)....absolutely beautiful, BUT here I am back in a 911 and loving it!!!

yes, this is true. i've wanted the Vantage since it came out, but now i've driven the Porsche and i know it's much more fun to drive. so it's a hard decision.. anyway i will design a C4S next week with the Porsche Design guy

Interesting indeed. As you found out, much better rates available for both cars. I think the Aston is a great looking ride. Can someone with one explain what's involved with the ~2k oil change?

I think they have to remove the entire engine and rebuild it

I thought the Aston was beautiful. Considered it. Read tons of reviews. Watched youtube videos. I chose the Porsche because it is a "better" car. A link to my build is in my footer. As you can probably see, the price was not a deciding factor. I feel I made the right choice. In the end though, it is your choice to make. You will have a beautiful car either way.

The Vantage is a beautiful but the car itself is just dated. The platform is a decade old and the 2011 Vantage I drove before getting my 911 did not feel any faster than my Audi S5. That and the depreciation was worse than the Porsche. Its an emotional decision to buy a Aston kind of like the Maserati Grantursimo. If that is what you want that is what you should get...We are a little biased here in the Porsche forum. Either way let us know which way you go.

aston depreciation is terrible. dont evey buy a new one as youll lose 50k after the first year of ownership. I bought a 2009 that was a year old with 5k miles for about 110k. The car was 150k new. The auto clutch on the aston is terrible. it lurchs and jumps all over the place. I purchased a 6 speed manual. Shifting was smooth on the manual but the clutch was week even after i installed a new one. It couldnt take any hard driving without smelling like ****. Nice car for the weekends. I would never purchase one as a daily driver.

my friends with astons have mixed reviews but all agree dd capability is not a strength of these cars. beautiful to look at, no one denies that--i just couldnt drop that much coin on british engineering!
