Don't this you can justify it, but that's the deal with a large luxury toy like a Porsche. I think it is a waste of time to try, just buy it and enjoy it.

First world problems lol

In 1999 I looked at a 1994 3.6 turbo for $65k and it had 10k miles on the clock. That car is worth more now than it was then. I could have essentially driven it 10 years for free. Point is, if you pick the right Porsche you don't have to suffer any depreciation at all. I would say the 2007-2011 GT3 RS will hold up very well too.

I think that pretty much sums it up. Sometimes you just have to say wtf and take the plunge. Do what you really want to do, enjoy it, no regrets and don't worry about the financial analysis/depreciation.
