Is buying a 6MT a mistake?
Turban's signature sums it up:

I will go ahead and assume that the rest of you lazy paddle pulling pansies know bugger all about Porsche's!.....or porches!"

Totally agree - I just got a C4S manual and I love the MT. The only negative is I am not a fan of the electronic parking brake. Especially that I am used to "pulling up" on the parking brake to set on my old 997 and "pushing down" when releasing. This button seems to work the opposite and I am having a hard time getting used to it after driving manual 911's for 20 years! Not sure if that annoys anyone else.

They should have just put a button in the center console, instead of the fake pull handle below the dash.

But I am used to different handbrake configs. BMW 3 with MT has "normal" parkingbrake lever, pull up engage and push down release. Merc C class with MT has a foot operated parkingbrake pedal. So that one has 4 pedals to compensate for only 2 in my PDK 991 ;-)
Drove a great 2013 C4S with low miles today that was 7MT. I dont know.... definitely not the same as my GT3 was (obviously) but it just felt like it was lacking something. really soft clutch... I really think I want PDK, but this car is exactly what I would want otherwise.
