Carrera Classic och Carrera S platinum wheels on white prosche cab?

I have ordered my 991 S white, red roof with the carrera classic wheels but I have second thoughts about maybe changing to the carrera s wheels painted in platinum instead.

What do you guys think? Someone have pictures of those?

I have them on my white coupe. It definitely makes the car look more aggressive. Not cab, but...

Hey, thanks guys. I think I will change to the platinum wheels. As you said it is more aggressive looking.
I think you have to see them irl to really appreciate them because they are so dark in almost all pictures I have seen.

Only one issue with the platinum wheels. If you get and curb rash and want someone to fix the damage they will never be able to duplicate the color on a partial repair. As a result you will need to get the entire wheel redone. Thats usually a one week turn around and no use of the car, versus someone coming to your home and fixing it in about an hour with the wheel still on the car.

Well I have to be careful with it then. As it is only platinum paint I guess when you scrape it the aluminium shows underneath.
It is still a hard decesion. I like both wheels.

I like the contrast between the tire and the wheel with the classic when looked at from the side.

From an angle the classic looks darker as you see more of the grey inner painted area. (if you like that)

I don't really get the appeal of all dark wheels. You can't see the low profile tires as well and they kind of remind me of a car without hub caps. ( in the old days they had hub caps)

My biased opinion, I like the platinum wheels better than the alloy. But I would take alloy over black wheels. All black seems too dark. And thanks for the photo of the cab w/ the french bulldog. Love those dogs.

Been there, done that, and had my wheel and tire insurance carrier replace the entire wheel after the joker they hired to repair the wheel initially did a sh!tty job then used the wrong color paint. I believe that a competent shop could repair a road rashed tire, but I don't think that there are any around here
