Can the dealer program the wing to go in PASm position if I have a non PASm car?

What Is pasm position? How does it differ from raising it normally?

 

Sport PASM allows the rear wing to extend even further than the maximum position with non-Sport PASM cars.

 

Just open the sunroof That puts it into the same position as SPASM

 

Then what happens when you open sunroof and extend the spoiler in spasm car?

Make sure you have the collar turned up on your Porsche Design polo shirt. This is a necessity if you have the spoiler manually up while tootling around town at speeds under 70MPH

Actually better than putting up your shirt collar check out the web site for Heinz Bauer Manufact in Germany. Beautiful leather jackets (Called Cabrio Jackets) the collar unzips and goes up behind your neck and lower head. Works like a mini version of the rear windscreen and it really works!. Leather is the finest German leather. Pricy but worth it.

Skip to 2:35 in the video for an animation showing the downforce with the spoiler in the "normal up" position and the "SPASM UP" position in cars with SPASM.

If the spoiler can be programmed to be in the higher position, it's a good idea to also install the SPASM front lip spoiler to get the full downforce benefits.

 

Pretty drastic change with pasm. Wonder if anyone knows how to program it or if it's even possible?

PIWIS Tester 2 instructions take precedence since the description may be different with later Tester releases.
The procedure described here has been structured in general terms; different text or additions may appear on the 9818 - PIWIS Tester 2.
7.2 ONLY for vehicles with sliding roof/glass sunroof: Program new control unit for air deflector ( ␣ Workshop Manual ’’606655 Replacing control unit for air deector’’).
