Seat cushion indent
I'm going to take it to a dealership this week. I'll let you guys know. I just don't understand why the foam wouldn't eventually go back. Regardless, hopefully covered under warranty. I'll let you guys know. thanks everyone for their help. I love my new car, I wish this problem would just go away!!!
Please don't let this detract from you enjoying your car. It sounds like you probably got an awesome deal on a pre-owned 2014 991. Hopefully, this will get fixed or fix itself. Either way, what you saved from the depreciation hit should be more than sufficient to keep a smile on your face.
Just to share a bit of perspective...I was driving home yesterday evening after a pretty frustrating day at work. I was driving through Rock Creek Park and traffic was slow enoght that I noticed a young man (looked to be in his 20s maybe) jogging. He had only one arm. Immediately I thought, what do I have to be concerned about?
Enjoy your car!

My passenger seat was replaced due to a recall when I first got the car. On one side the foam is somewhat "gathered". I think this is the nature of the material. FYI, when fine Persian carpets are made, the weaver purposely includes a small flaw because only God can make something perfect. Don't worry about it, just enjoy your great car.
Very similar to that. Mine returned to normal within a day. By massage I mean the area immediately around the indentation, no so much the indentation itself. It is stretched leather, if you take it to the dealer they will likely dampen the area (hopefully with distilled water) and use a heat gun or hair dryer to draw the leather back to its natural state. Let us know how it goes.

If you cannot enjoy a $100K plus car because of a small indentation in the passenger seat, then maybe you need to re-examine your life as a whole.
No judgement here at all, maybe just a little perspective and introspection is needed.
Enjoy your ride, drive the crap out of it, you only live once ( or so they say ).
Haha... I appreciate all the replies. I'm not sure why this got into a discussion about life, but I am just upset about the car. I'm not comparing it to life or other's fortunes. I'm very happy in general, just frustrated with this issue and purchase. I'm sure everyone has had issues with things in their life that frustrate them. It's normal and this is a car forum.
I just wanted to clarify since this somehow got into a discussion about me being bitter about life. Appreciate everyone's help, though.

Hey no worries. I totally get you. Sure there are more important things to worry about in life. I know you know that. That is what this forum is for, to seek advice, help, information about the cars we love. Little things like this would bug most of us. Just like the tiny brown specs some owners found under their clear coats. I won't judge you on this matter. It will work out I am sure. For goodness sake post some pictures or your car asap!
Thanks, Cutters68. Although I have only had a day with it because I have had to work, I got some quick pics - not washed or anything yet
I actually love this forum and love everyone's passion. All - don't get me wrong, my frustration is nothing more than a function of my excitement! This is my first car and like anyone would, I want everything to be perfect. Plus, i'm more upset that the dealer hit this imperfection from me. Hopefully its an easy fix - just worried if it hurts value.
Anyway, the car is unreal. I didn't realize how low the car would be with PASM. Its awesome but I hope it can handle NYC.
