991 C2S X Pipe

Hi guys, im debating on which x pipe i should get for my 911, the fabspeed or the agency power ? Im not looking to do a full on exhaust setup, just want some more noise and a little bit of power.

Which of these 2 would you recommend or are there better ones out there ?

Any feedback would be appreciated !

You won't really notice a sound difference with the fabspeed x pipe. As for power I couldn't tell a difference either way, that's not to say there isn't one though. I would suggest an x pipe and remove your side mufflers.

You could always leave your side mufflers intact, and opt to use them only when your mind (or foot) desires.

The AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust for the 991 Carrera S allows you to do just that. See it in action below:

More information on the AWE Tuning SwitchPath Exhaust can be found here, and if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via PM. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

Our newly designed 991 X-Pipe makes a nice difference in the sound. A customer just sent up this compasison video of the OEM exhaust vs. the OEM side mufflers with our SpeedTech 991 X-Pipe. You can clearly hear the sound improvement, especially in the higher RPM's where it screams. They were extremely pleased with the result and called the sound very exotic, similar to the Ferrari sound at high end!

We are also running an intro special on these 991 X-Pipes right now - I have 5 systems available at a special discounted price - PM, call or email for details...

The AWE exhaust is really amazing. You basically get a quiet commuter or race car soundtrack (not too loud though) on demand. I would personnally not go for a X-pipe 100% of the time.
I strongly advise against bypassing the side mufflers. I had done the mod on my first 991 and it was unbearably loud.

I'll PM you a few more thoughts...

Here's one more thing I look at last year: the performance claims (at that time = last April, maybe numbers have changed since then) of Fabspeed and Agency power x-pipes. You would say: wow, the performance gain with the Agency Power X-pipe is amazing!!! Now sit back for a minute and you will realize that even the Fabspeed claim is already fairly aggressive and Agency Power's totally unrealistic (just a personal opinion of course)...
