Noooooooo!

It's not that bad. I noticed a really small stone chip perhaps 2mm on the lower rear part of the drivers door today - first chip in 18 months. Should I just seal it with wax or you think body shop touch up?

I felt the same way a few weeks ago when the car ahead and to the left of me on the highway threw up a jagged rock about 2" in diameter. I watched it coming at me in what seemed like slow motion. I wasn't sure if it was going to hit my side window, and I instinctively jogged right. When it hit there was a terrible sound and I just knew my door was significantly damaged. I felt sick and pulled off at the next exit and looked at it. Remarkably, it had hit on the left rear fender just ahead of the wheel. I know how much this must be hurting.

Fortunately for me, I had protective film and though it left a big mark, the only thing it hurt was the film. Not even a dent! I just had to replace the film. I know for me, I would probably get it professionally fixed. Good luck in whatever course of action you choose.

72 hours after I take delivery, some a$$&@$£ puts a big dent in my driver's side door. You would have heard a scream of ultimate suffering that would rival that in the Princess Bride. First thought should of been dent wizard. But it was to get a new car!

Those refilled potholes... I've avoided Philly for that reason.

Damn those Jersey drivers!
Seriously though, I feel the pain.
