I have always kept my keys on a keychain with my car keys. Only the essentials to keep it small. I have had 3 bmw's as my recent cars and the key has a quick disconnect so if I wanted to I could hand the fob to the wife or someone else who needed to use/drive my car and still have all the keys on need myself. If I left it in a parking garage same thing. now with the Porsche the key ring is on the fob but not on the part that disconnects from the fob so I was wondering what you guys all use for this or if im just a weirdo. Do i have to keep my car key and house/work keys separate. I was looking into getting a quick release keychain as seen on ebay but wanted something a little smaller and streamlined.

I took the key ring off my fobs.
I prefer to keep non-car keys seperate from car fobs.

 

I have entry and drive thus key never leaves the pocket. Can't remember the last time handing over the key to someone else, unless during service.

Got this as a gift a long time ago and never used it. One of the rings come off.
