Black Exhaust Tip for 991 with PSE
Black Exhaust Tip for 991 with PSE
Hi Guys,
Try to search for this first but could not get reliable answer - looking to upgrade by exhaust tip to something that is more aggressive - like matted black. I only found one - the TechArt exhaust tip. Any other recs?
Also, how hard is it to swap out the exhaust tip? Is this a DIY project or need professional install?
Thanks again

I did two coats of primer and three of the black and lots of waiting in between. I looked into the powder coating but the only place I found around me had to ship them out, turn around time was close to two weeks. Almost a year later I have a couple of spots to touch up which is no biggie. Part of the touch ups is due to backing up to snow piles, where's that backup camera?
AWE also offers 'black diamond' tips.

I think they should fit the PSE but am not sure if they sell separately.
This being said, it would be a good excuse for buying their switchpath exhaust
Probably my best mod so far...

the tips come off in 2 minutes with one screw. Its better to get them ceramic coated than painted or powdercoated becasue of the heat. i think fabspeed sells them also they look great too.
I do like the sound of their system.
But the PSE tips do fit the AWE system? I guess they have two points with which to install tailpipes, one for theirs and one for OEM. Can anybody confirm this?
I keep thinking about ordering it, but would add my PSE tips to the AWE.
