New Technical Assistance Forum

Gents, your site admins and moderators have been working on a way to provide technical assistance to the members without involving site vendors/sponsors...due to their efforts we have been able to secure some of the biggest engine, transmission and suspension guys out there...there is a new technical assistance section and an account called 411... There will be more than a half dozen very well known guests who will post as 411 and that will remain anonymous. None of them are site sponsors/vendors. They have volunteered their expertise to provide a service to the members of 6speedonline. We are very grateful for their generosity....this should be a great source of unbiased info for all members.

I just wish the members had made more use of it initially as we had a lot of high powered experts posting as 411 and now not so much

Is Mobile 1 75W90 LS ok to use in Porsche manual gearbox even though they are intended for limited slip differentials?

TQP is an unknown quantity at this point
I have 800 miles on my 2017 911 4S. Got in July. Dealer says I need to get it serviced on 1 year date from manufacturing. That date is coming up 4.1.17. What does that service entail? How much should I expect to spend? Thanks

Pretty much just an oil change and visual inspection. If there are any campaigns, they will do those updates as well. Cost, depending on where you live and the dealer itself, could charge from about $250 - $350 for this service.
