Sprint Booster Help... GMP
I ordered a Sprint booster since I have a manual car and didn't get sport chrono. When it came in right away I noticed the label on the box said 997 and not 991 which I asked adam at gmp about, he quickly responded saying the same sprint booster fits both cars and not to be alarmed...
After reading a post 991 sprint boosters now available I figured they had to develop a new a product that was now complete and available so I doubted the 997 sticker on my box, still not sure if I was wrong to doubt it or not
here is my problem I went to install it and I know its as simple as plug and play and I remember being great as a toddler sticking the circle in the circle hole and the triangle in the triangle hole but with this device I sware its like sticking a square in the circle hole. am I doing something wrong or did they send me the wrong product?

Adam got back to me and after a bunch of emails and pictures back and forth we realized that the 997 booster does in fact fit a 991 however the box I got was mislabeled and actual for a manual transmission cayenne. They sent a ups guy to pick it back up with a label and resent me out a new one which I installed in 2 minutes. It's a great idea for anyone without sport chrono and after some testing on my buddies car we decided the green or 50 percent boosted setting is best for everyday driving. He liked it so much I'm ordering one for him tonight and I'll just keep his for when my car comes in.

I have sport chrono and PDK. Do you mean it would not help or why do say specific to manual an no sport chrono
Would it make the normal mode better and maybe not so much on sport and sport chrono?

I think it's more advantageous to people who don't have sport chrono regardless of transmission. With sport chrono in sport plus mode throttle response is quicker so you already get some of the sprint boosters functionality. Anyone without sport chrono however I would say this is almost a must have, in my opinion anyway.
I have Sport Chrono/PDK and a SprintBooster installed. I like driving in Sport with the SB on race mode, throttle response is noticeable sharper than with Sport plus engaged, but without the hardcore redline shifting program which I find overkill on the streets.
