3K miles = used car . The 10K or so saved comes with the risk of not knowing how those 3K miles were driven .

As for CPO .. in my opinion if a 2014 car needs a CPO then it reveals some doubts . The dealership is going to foist the CPO fees into the sale price and one still ends up with doubts .

It's just not worth it . I'd buy a new car OR if I wanted a used car with 3K miles it would have to be at least 2 years old where depreciation is accumulated as a result of the cars age .

The CPO is actually a good thing. It will extend the factory warranty from 50,000 miles to 100,000 miles. It is one of the best CPO programs in the business and it would not be a worry to me to buy a low milage CPO'd car.

I would offer $105,000 and see where the dealer goes. Max would be $110,000.

I'd ask the dealer if it was a "fleet car/demo". I'd pay less for a demo than I would one that was actually driven by one owner. A demo is going to have been driven a lot harder than one that was babied for it's first 3,000 miles. Just a thought.

People like the extra warranty. Of course, they tack on $2900 in a cert. So it ain't free. Run a check on how many times it was redlined. That should give you some security. These cars are robust!!

As this car is in ATL it is most likely an Executive or Demo car from PCNA. (ATL is where PCNA headquarters are located) Both ATL Porsche Dealers have these PCNA cars all the time, normally with less than 5,000 miles on them. They are never a particularly GREAT deal, better to special order what you want for about same price.

My point is that if one is adding a CPO to a 2014 car he may as well just buy a new one . The savings is so minimal compared to the risk of 3K miles of unknowns .

I tend to agree with this. With only 3K on the clock the discount probably isn't that much from new. If your going to save 20-30K then it is, but this is probably not the case with only 3K miles on the car. Spend a little more and get a new one.

$105K - non-CPO.

What was the original MSRP?
