Question Carrera Base / Carrera S/ Carrera 4S? which one would you chose?

As a background I have owned a 997 4S before and currently own a 997 Turbo S so I am familiar with my experiences with the 997

With respect to the 991 models I am planning on purchasing her a car because the 2008 M6 that she drives now has started showing lights up on the dashboard

So here are my options:

1. 2014 Carrera base - $105K (pdk - 8% discount)
2. 2014 Carrera C2S - $117K (manual - 10% discount) (PDK - 8% discount)
3. 2014 Carrera C4S - $127K (pdk - discount 9%)

All vehicles are (nicely optioned and negotiated prices are stated able)

Price is an important factor for me, however, I also would like to get the best value for my money, so given the price differences which one is the best value for my money?

I can drive manual and so can my wife but she prefers the pdk

I cant get over the wide body look on the 991 - breathtaking

Opinions are welcome - pulling the trigger tomorrow

C4S for your neck of the woods. Performance is about the same as the C2S - plus all the extra goodies that are standard on the S, a worthy bump up from the base model, the added safetyfor spotty weather and the wide body (larger wheels etc).

Given you're in the snow belt, probably the 4. If you're going to track it, the 2!

If you don't care about total $ spent, get the 4S!

If you're going to track it, I'd still go with the C4S. You'll thank yourself in the corners.

Maybe I am misreading your post, but appears the car will be for your wife. I would not want my wife driving anything but the 4 or 4S "up" there.

Guys thank you again for your invaluable opinions - very helpful

So I have decided on the C4S

Now gotta think about some mods and wheels will come first

I've driven the 4S on the track and it's better than the S. But even if you weren't going to track it, I'd get the 4S unless your not going to use it in the winter. Can't wait to see pics!
