2012.5 991 Rear spoiler recall
Is that the one?
I just checked with my service guy, he was not aware of any although I do need to get my instrument cluster reprogrammed.

It falls off after 4 hours?
Didn't this issue come up in spring 2013, I tried to get Porsche to credit me the replacement spoiler cost against the ducktail I bought. OMG you would of thought I was trying to rob a homeless person begging at an intersection!!

Seeing the spoiler is a rather important component in the stability of this car, they would have to be certifiably insane to keep a complete rear spoiler replacement / recall under wraps and only divulged to a select few SA's.
If this recall is in fact true, the NHTSA would already be all over it.
Anyone remember the debacle in 2000 with the Audi TT spoiler

And I am pretty sure Chuck had something else in mind with the 4 hour reference...

Probably to maximum extention
Ok, you got me..

I was seriously thinking of why it would be bad to keep it (the spoiler up) for more than 4 hours..
I mean... I often just leave mine up for days.. then it hit me...
