Received Wheel Spacers

Received set of wheel spacers / bolts for my '14 C4S yesterday. Can't wait to get them installed! I ordered from Motorsport Tech -- they are Adaptec 7mm F / 15mm R with silver bolts. Price was very reasonable, shipped quickly, and Lenny at Motorsport was very helpful when I had initial questions prior to pulling the trigger!

Quality seems good, just a couple of burred edges that should have been knocked-off, but otherwise nice. Very light weight.

Here are some pics of the set just after I took them out of the box.... I'll mount them up later this week and post before / after pics!!

The set

Has anyone done 5mm spacers on a C2S all the way around? With OEM 20" wheels. Any comments? I'm sure a bit nicer looking without going too extreme?

With Sport PASM (-20mm ride hight from PASM) they give what I consider a perfect stance and full wheel wells without leading to road rash.

The difference from a car that is not lowered and with no spacers is most obvious when they are parked together. 5mm spacers alone are nice but not a major change from stock.

I should have mentioned with Sport PASM. Thanks for the reminder.

Nice touch, but not too extreme is what I'm looking for.

Update

Just a quick update.... Have the spacers installed for a week now. Overall happy with the mod. Can't really say that it changed handling, since I am not on the track and the spirited twisty-road drives I go on the 4S has from day one felt like it was glued on rails to the road. Love the looks, and on my PASM C4S the car does look "lower". I do intend to go with H&R spring set sometime soon, which will give my car a stance a bit lower than a car with S-PASM.

Check out the DIY Wheel Spacers Install if you would like to see more step-by-step detail about this very simple cosmetic change to any 991.

Couple of pics of the car with spacers 7mmF/15mmR installed. Doesn't show the contrast with stock as much as is evident from some other angles and lighting conditions....

You can see in this pic how the right rear wheel/tire are pushed out to just the very edge of the wheel arch... After driving a week, I haven't noticed any more dirt or other marks on the side of the car than usual, so going 7/15 works in my case.

Looks great. I personally wouldn't go lower seeing you already have Sport PASM. To put springs on as well, I think the ride will suffer a bit.

Overall, great looking 4S!

Looks absolutely perfect! The spacers give the car a more aggressive stance.
