Want to paint my Silver Carrera S wheels!

Hey everyone this is my first post. I just became the proud owner of a 991 C2S and I love everything about the car except I would like more aggressive wheels.

Ideally I would like Carrera Classic wheels, but mine came equipped with silver S wheels.

I would like to paint them to look like the Platinum S wheels. Does anyone know a color code or a recommendation of a place that will swap them for a fee?

FYI, my car is platinum silver, so if you guys have any suggestions as well that would be great! This is also my first porsche so, although i'm somewhat car-savvy, I still have a lot to learn from you guys

Imo Platinum wheels are the most agressive looking, Classics are gorgeous but they look more elegant to me.
I painted mine platinum silk, bought the platinum centercaps p/n 99104460021 and had the paint color matched. The results were great, cant tell the difference with the original finish.

Hawaii Mike is infamous around these parts
I'm in a similar situation as the original poster and love the platinum wheels, gallon. What was the process to get the wheels painted - was it strip/paint/clear coat, or were they powder coated?

Aloha,
Mike

Wheels look great, can you post a close up? I have the Platinum wheels from the factory, but the stems contrast, and was looking for a way to get them to match. Below is a pic of what I am referring to.

Aloha,
Mike

Just strip, paint and clearcoat.
Took them a couple of days to get the job done. The factory finish is called Silver Chrome, it needs to be sanded really well.
The tech guy told me that the original platinum water base paint has a lot of metallic flakes, theres still a subtle shine after applying the final MATT clear coat, hence the name "satin" platinum.

Yours look pretty good to me!
Heres a couple , sorry for the iphone crappy quality pics
All I can say is that the finish looks OE. I compared them side by side and there were no difference between the two.

Oh! you ment the stem valve, sorry I didnt get that.
Well yes, the contrast looks kind of weird.
My wheels were silver and came with black rubber stems.
Guess Porsche have this backwards

Can you find out if your paint shop got a color code for them or just went off of the center caps for a match? I'm impressed with the results they achieved. More details would be helpful if anyone wants to attempt the same things. Thanks!!

You can buy Black Stems, for a better match, to dark color wheels.

freshness, since you are in LA, Wheel Enhancement can refinish your wheels for you.
They specialize in Porsche wheels.

No paint code, just color match the platinum flaky paint with the new center caps (p/n 99104460021) and finish with a matt clear coat.
Nothing difficult, hardest part was the wait
