Mine does this inconsistently. Sometimes it releases and sometimes not. Is there a trick?

Cheekymonkeyman is infamous around these parts
I'm not sensing a lot of love for the e-brake (position, push/pull, electric etc).... i just wanted to offer a different perspective as to why i like those attributes;

When i first got my 991 the e-brake reminded me of the first time i visited the US... jumped in a rental car... And couldn't find the hand brake (or my destination but that's another story ! ) ... It was an extra pedal which hides kinda where the e-brake is... push to engage... And pull the lever in the same place to release... I also like the effortless auto- disengage when driving off ... So Position tick, push/pull tick.... Electric tick!

Maybe its another PDK thing but i find both the HOLD function and e-brake as easy as 'press the accelerator'

Is your seatbelt fastened every time? If not, this feature will not work. Mine does it every time, both forward and reverse.

You may want to take it to the dealer.

Good luck!
