I think I was reading between the lines on this section of the article.Hope the replacement aren't so good the I feel the need to upgrade.

The only problem is that by 2017 the new Corvette ZR1 will probably be here with about 750 hp!

 

I'm actually really proud that American engineers were able to design such an amazing car in the new corvette... Incredible performance is an affordable package. In Charleston where I live there is a Medal of Honor recipient who drives the new vette... which I think is awesome on multiple levels.

That being said I personally would not buy one over a 911 because I'm obsessed with exterior and interior design of the p-car. I would love porsche to build a factory in the states so at least I could feel somewhat patriotic.
