Is there any way I could set the map view for "North Up"? I couldn't find this option under map view settings...

From the manual --

You can adapt the map display to your requirements by selecting various elements and settings.

Compiling the map information

Press the MAP button.
Press the OPTION button or touch the tab of the same name in the header.
Select "SET MAP"
> "Map view".
The following map display criteria are then available to you:
– "North orientation",
– "3D map" (perspective display),
– "Guidance",
– "Traffic messages",
– "North arrow",
– "Show footer", and
– "Footprints".
Select the various list items to activate ( ) or deactivate ( ) them in the map display.
The map display is adapted in accordance with your settings.

I don't think mine has (North orientation)...

 

You got an owner's manual with your car???

 

Shortcut is to press the arrow in the top right of the PCM screen. This will alternate between north and driving up orientation.... North only works in 2D mode

 

You can obtain on-line via Porsche iManual. Mostly PITA to look up things electronically as the search function is pretty useless, but suppose it is better than nothing (but not by much).
