Crystalline Window Tint

Does anybody have this clear window tint installed. Like it? Much more expensive than other tint?

I have had Crystalline on several cars. Definitely worth the cost. Makes a noticeable difference here in South Florida. Looks especially good on dark color cars if you don't want a blacked out look. Don't forget to have the windshield tinted, very important. That's where a lot of the heat comes from.

Great! If it's not too much trouble can you post a picture? I want literally no extra tint color. Thanks!!

I put it on my front windshield. I put a darker tint on the sides. It does darken the window but not enough to notice when windows are all up. No problems at night. I wanted to block all UV, decrease heat and protect interior. Overall, very happy with it.

I had it done through via 3M and I don't have any regrets, worth every penny
My car is Amaranth Red had the full clear Crystalline installed, You'd never know its tinted.
The car keeps cool inside even though Dubai's heat isn't to be messed with =P and the major difference noticed is when turning the AC on, the car's interior now cools up faster than before...noticeably faster.

Targa2015
Go for it, it is worth it.
and go for the full front windshield too, HUGE difference in keeping the heat away.
*ps: I had the glass-roof done in clear too*
Sorry couldn't take new pics as the car is at the garage getting mods installed

Gorgeous car!! Is it CR 90 all around? If you know let me know as that's the look I want but may go all one shade to keep the Targa effect. Cr 90 is the clearest .

Off topic a bit, I just had spectra photo sync film tint done this week on my white on black C4. I've never tinted any car I've owned, but wanted heat reduction inside.

Paid $600 for all incl windshield and glass roof.

Did front in 75 all others in 45. Wow what a heat reducing diff. I'm guessing 20-30 degrees cooler and not noticeably darker.great investment!

Crystalline

Be sure to use an authorized 3M dealer. They have a complete display of the various Crystalline tints as well as a little light bulb box to demonstrate heat resistance. There is little to no reflection inside the car at night which is good. Pictures don't show much as the tint changes with the light source. Do it, you'll be glad you did. Usually around $600.

i had it on the great reviews,

it works well, but if you park you car in the sun for more than 30 minutes it will still heat up the car like there is no tint.

The heat will still come through throught the windows and roof.

For me the biggest difference is that you wont have to have ur arm burn on the driver side window!.

its a great product, just don't want you to be fooled that there is no heat transfer at all.

Questions about Photosync

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm scheduled to have the Photosync installed on my '13 C4S this weekend. The price you got sounds good - I was quoted $480 for the sides and back + $250 for the windshield (no glass sunroof). Was your installer negotiable? Did you witness the install? I'm curious how they worked the product on the lower edge of the door glass - did they remove the door panel or how did they get it under the seal? Any other issues with the install or the product? What's the warranty? I'm thinking I'll go with the 45% on the sides (maybe 35%) and 75% on the windshield.

Note to OP, sorry about being off topic. Did not mean to hijack thread. Both of us are newbies and don't have enough posts to do PM.

My installer did offer a fair price I thought. I live in Cincinnati and he had done 2 other vehicles in the photo sync. 1 a Tesla that the guy raved about the heat reduction. He said I could stay for install but I did not.

Installer was Tint Guy in Fairfield Ohio. He's been doing tint since for 15 years and my family used him for other vehicles. He was exclusive on Spectra Photo Sync in my area.

He did a great job. No issues at all. The warranty card I was given says"warants film for the length of your ownership against fading, cracking, purplish, or bubbling".

I emailed Prestige films vtran@prestige-films.com and got good info and answers to my questions. They will connect you with installer.

No exaggeration. I notice 20-30 degrees cooler difference on my black interior.

I did not have choice of 35 for sides as my guy only had 75 and 45. If you like darker the 35 is nice but I'm happy with 45.

I think you will be pleased with film as long as installer is good. My guy did not remove for panel and was not necessary to do so.

Hope that helps!
