Any pics of Carrera Classic rims painted black?

Hello mates:

I just got a '14 white C4S cab with the Carrera Classic rims. I want to powdercoat them in black and I'm deciding between satin black and regular glossy black. Anyone have any pics of either? Especially on a white one?

I'm also deciding whether I should paint the whole rim black or keep the lip unpainted.

I've attached some pics.

Thanks in advance.

I just picked up a '14 4S with basalt (metallic) black wheels and IMO it looks awesome. I would recommend getting the whole wheel painted. To me, the unpainted lip makes the wheel look smaller.

Before you professionally get the wheel painted, i would suggest to plasti dip them black to get a good idea of how it looks on the car. If you don't like how the your wheels look in black you can easily remove the plasti dip.

Yes, I'm going to do that. But still wanted to see some pics, if possible. Thanks.

Throw some pics at us if and when you do. And +1 to getting them plastidipped first. There are shops in LA that will do all four wheels for $90 including labor. Well worth the cost IMO, just to get a feel of how they'll look.

Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with one. I only called a few shops around town after a google search. Most of them offered all four wheels for under $100.

I believe this was one of them: http://www.yelp.com/biz/la-plasti-dip-woodland-hills
