Excellent video. I like all your reasoning and insightful comparisons with the 997 GT3. Curious as to why you placed here in the 991 sub-forum, vice GT3 forum? But ultimately I believe there's always a significant difference in the car in which the car maker goes to the extreme as opposed to lessor variants. Very interesting Porsche felt the car has no need for PDCC.

Nice video once again!

More front camera shots when driving! Describing flying by cars like they're standing still doesn't have the same effect : )

Because the 991 forum is the most active on here! I browse around and the other ones sometimes out of curiosity, and this is where the party is Steve O!

Steve O, post a pic of your car on here. I saw it on another area of the site. Very nice!

Nice review. How jarring is the ride compared to the standard 991?

Manufactures don't like too see this kind of footage, when one approaches traffic at a high speed eventhough it's not really a problem with those breaks Just appears dangerrous, I guess

The ride was actually pretty good imo...Similiar to a 991 with sport suspension in the normal mode...So decent for road use

Great review! They're starting to pop up everywhere, especially at the race track.

Makes sense! Especially if you're borrowing it.

Interesting comment on how aggressive it sounds at lower speeds. Maybe something with the muffler? I like hearing a nice roar/rumbling at all speeds. Very happy with my 991 C2S with PSE.

Getawayer,

There has been this long discussion with this problem that nobody seems to have gotten to the bottom of. Are you familiar with it? Any thoughts/comments?

Thanks!

Haven't taken any good outdoor pics yet, but here it is in the garage yesterday. Today it's out getting an Xpel complete front protective film mask installed.

Apologies for jumping on the GT3 thread, but you asked.

Thanks!
If it's a character of the torque curve, then it would be more pronounced in the lowest gears especially under low to moderate throttle. I can feel the entire torque curve of both my car engines quite easily, especially when it enters a shallow bowl shaped dip starting and 2,500 and ending at 4,000 rpms. Supposedly the IPD plenum erases quite a bit of the dip. The RS60 also has a stumble around 2K when cold.

Danke! The contrast color accents are great on all of them, especially with the big meaty fixed rear wing. Just enough accent I think between the wing, graphics, and side vents and mirrors. Of course mine being black, there's not much contrast inside. I do have the red fabric door openers and seat belts, but my trim and console tunnel are gloss black, which go unnoticed compared to the other colors. Even the dial gauges are black in all of them, so more black for me! Red gauges would look cooler, or yellow gauges, belts, and door pulls to match the brakes. Mostly inside your eyes go to the GT2 seats. Soft cushions, but the back rest and height are not adjustable. Back shells are carbon fiber. Again, more black (near).
