Discount on 2014?
Seeing they're retailing for around 110K at your build, the stealership will be around 100K trade in.
They're not going to discount the GT3 at all.
Agree on the $100K. Maybe a hair lower.
I was giving best case scenario : )
Reality = Stealership = 98K
My prediction. Could vary. Not popular color combo, even lower.

Thanks guys. My dealer said about $102,000....dang thing still has the new car smell! I was figuring at least $110,000
Porsche... buy high...sell low. Maybe that needs to be their new tag line?

It's a sad reality. The market dictates the resale values. I think it goes to show that the retail new car prices may be a little over inflated.
The next guy will be buying a virtually brand new car for 110K. Not bad for him ...

Wish i could help you out with your C4S problem, and take it off your hands for that price
Just not the right time for me to pick up a 911.
Buy high ... sell low, hate that part of Porsche ownership too
Looks great. It's a really nice car!!!
Shelling out another $50-$60,000 and giving up that car would be kind of hard for me

Most certainly horrendous for new car buyers...but what are you gonna do about it?
Best to just grin and bear it and enjoy the ride.
People looking to pick up a nice CPO on the other hand, can find pretty good deals w/ a 100k mile bumper to bumper warranty.

also, LA and SF dealers have many full price cash " buyers " making $$$ acting as go betweens for their Far East customers who could pay 2-5 x due to officially imported cars' huge tariffs if bought from their auth dealers in their home countries, despite manuf efforts to stop this arbitraging , and who bribe family friendly high officials back home who pull strings for their motor agencies to look the other way
this has happened to all luxury brands here
the car can end up that evening in a ship container as the sham buyer has been " called home to Asia " .

I don't think so. I have seen these cars go for less than that.
I think 102k is a pretty good offer and in my state you only pay tax on the difference. So effectively you would have to sell the car for 109k to equal that deal.

This has quite nearly 3 times as many miles but still only 12k on this well optioned C4S with the aero kit that is CPO'd for 99k. No sunroof is really the only negative I see. The 102 doesnt sound far off from the dealer.

Glad you are enjoying your C4S. If you would like more numbers I can pull the Manheim Auction list of sales and send along. The one in the link above was just one example but with full leather, Burmester, 18 way seats, the aero kit and a 135k MSRP it is a well optioned car. Even at the dealer retail for this CPO example is 99k....
The options are great but you do not recoup the money of individualizing the car. Some of the key options like Sports Chrono and PDK you will get your money back on. The stitching and carbon inlays are great but at the end of the day it is a 2013 C4S with 4500 miles. Best of luck with the sale, I hope you get all the money.
