Windows acting funny

Hello All,

I have this funny thing on my passenger window, if I open my door (driver side) my pasaenger window sometimes makes the same thing as the other one, the window goes down..or up, you can hear the noise lol, Any one having the same issue or maybe some advice to have this fixed

Also noticed on both interior handles when I'm going to open the door they don't have the same sensibilty as new, that you barely move those and the window goes down, now I have to almosd fully openthe handle to get the window down

I think it is normal. My car does the same thing - don't know if the pass window goes up or down, but it certainly makes a sound. Sometimes if I am in the car with the engine off just fiddling with something, I will hear the pass window motor go on. There always seems to be "ghost" noises going on in my car when at rest.

When you go to open the door, the window on the side you are opening should drop down about a quarter to half inch, this way, when the door is closed, the window will seal and when you open, the glass does not stress the rubber seal around the window

Sorry, guess I did not correctly understand your problem. I will in the future make a better attempt to understand your problem.

What the op is experiencing seems normal.. Both sides of mine drop at times.... I also had similar behavior on my audi.. I believe the behavior varies based on conditions, such as temperature... At least that is my observation.. On a hot day my audi would crack the windows automatically... I haven't however seen this on my c2s.

As for the sensitivity issue.. Not really clear what your question is..

thanks for the info
the sensitivity, before when I was exiting the car, it was very sensitive just by pulling a little bit the window roll down, now I have I would say fully open the handle to get window down.. maybe some one experiencing the same and just curious if they got this fixed

There is a switch there so that so that the windows crack just before mechanically opening.. But it is just a sensor spst type of switch.. So in general I wouldn't believe there is any type of adjustment.... As long as it activates before the door latch opens.... I'm wondering do you get the same behavior on the passenger door (sensitivity?)

It may be ( I haven't verified yet) a mechanical adjustment that positions the switch in just the right mechanical orientation so that it activates before the door latch disengages.. But unless that is failing to happen at all (and the window not cracking) you aren't going to get much from the dealer..as from a functional standpoint nothing is wrong, it just seems different..

honestly my general rule is I don't like taking the door panels off any more often than I have to... I'd just leave it alone...

passenger side window from the interior, I need to pull the handle full movement, door and window open at the same time.. thats from inside, from exterior window rolls down first

Ditto re this! I put it on my list of 'things to check in the manual' someday.
