Just got the word and the vin#. Carmine Red C4S ducktail, sport chrono, PSE, PDK, glass sunroof, sport design wheels, sport design steering wheel, and a few lesser niceties. Will get it mid Jan. Didn't have the nads to get the Viper Green I really wanted, but this should work.
Been waiting for this since May. When they announced that the GTS was available in Carmine Red I was concerned that it took away from the uniqueness and value of my PTS build. Carmine Red costs $2250 less for a GTS than for PTS on my C4S. I don't see a lot of Porsches driving around Seattle in the rain, so probably won't see many GTSs and even fewer in Carmine Red. I decided to think about as "I'll see your Carmine Red and raise you one Duck Tail". Now that the car is in transit, the intolerable wait is turning to, oh crap its almost here have I missed anything? When it gets here, I'll play with it for a couple days if it isn't raining too much, then it goes in for clear bra and opti-coat.
I finally got to see a Carmine Red GTS in person. It is a really beautiful color of red. They actually have one for sale down the street. How are you liking your car?
Mine is now in the shop getting clear bra, opti-coat , and window tint. Carmine Red pops in the sun, nice bold fire engine red. When its cloudy, you see a reflection of the clouds in the paint, so it looks like a matte finish. That GTS pic in post #10 is the cloudy day look. 660+ miles so far.

I like the Carmine Red a lot! IMO, much better than white or black
