What service do I need? 2013 991S with 10K miles and 20 months old

I took delivery of my 991s on May 30, 2013. I got the oil and filter change done right at the one year mark, May 2014. Had about 5K miles on the car at the time. I'm coming up on 10K miles now and need to take it in.

What service do I get?
A) Oil and filter change only (10K service is oil and filter change). About $250 in Silicon Valley.
B) 20K service (which is supposed to be done at the 2 year mark according to the manual). As I far as I can tell this is oil and filter change, cabin particle filter change, luggage particle filter change, bunch of "visual inspections". Quoted at $750 at Rector in Silicon Valley.
C) Something else?

I am leaning towards A, as doing the B items seems excessive at 10K miles. Feedback is welcome.

Thanks.

Wait until April and get the 2 year (aka 20,000 mile) service. Treat it right now and reap the benefits down the road.

Agree with beaverlake - wait a few more months and get the two year. The two year will also include a brake fluid change, change of wiper blades, topping off all fluids. These "extras" is going to bump up the cost from too.

I'm in the same boat with mine right now. I'm just going to wait a couple months and get the 2 year service done.

You are just fine waiting for the 2 year mark, I'd recommend that as others have stated.

And like I tell all the cars that come through the shop for maintenance - these cars are rock solid if you keep up with the maintenance! Small price to pay for peace of mind down the road, I've seen it happen far too many times.

My TTS is 2.5 years old and only had 900 miles. The dealer CPO'd it but should I still do the 2 year maintenance on it? Or have they already done it? I notice when it rains and I use the wipers they are jittery on the windshield. Should they be replaced?

I'm like you and only had 11,000 miles at the two year mark. I just did mine in May and spent $410. They did everything (including brake flush) except wiper blades and the cabin and frunk particle filters.
$750 is way too much. Unless you smoke or eat in your car you might consider not doing the filters.

My blades would get jittery sometimes after a fresh Rain-X. Visually check the blades to see they are not rotated 180 degrees along its length.

Anyway blades are a cheap fix, I'd wait till the ice was over with, or get winter blades so ice doesn't get stuck in the books and crannies.

We list the Porsche maintenance kits on our website here.

In the product descriptions there is a check list of items that are inspected by the technicians. So that should give you a good idea of what gets done during at these service intervals.

Let us know if there is anything we can help you out with.
