Porsche 991 S Ducktail on HRE P101's

Another home run on the record books fellas! We just got finished with yet another 991 Porsche S Ducktail and it is simply and utterly perfect combo. We went with a set of 21x9 and 21x11 HRE P101's in satin black. The contrast works perfectly with this combo. I may just have to add this one to the bucket list.

Specs:

21x9
21x11

255/30/21
325/25/21

Looks great, but...what does it ride like? I mean there isn't much tire left with a 21 inch rim.

Optimized for aesthetics (opinion varies) and not for optimal performance. Love the car and wheels.

The sizing isn't the best performance option. More South Beach than function.

May not be too bad with the HRE monoblocks. I know that VividRacing was 1 second slower from 0-60 (991 TT) with their heavy 21 inch three piece bling setup. And that was after all the power mods, piggybacks, custom exhaust etc. Hard to say if it was due to the wheels or they got massive traction loss from the extra power but they admitted that the wheels were an issue.

With light HRE monos it might be less of a concern. Who knows?

21" just looks wrong. Too big. OK for ballers, I guess.

To each their own. I personally like the 20 inch fitment myself.
