Wink

That Autoblog Review was excellent, and although I love the look and the wide body on the GTS 2 Cab, as well as having my heart set on it, this review solidified my resolve for not getting a GTS and in fact going for a C4S CAb. Here is a snippet from the review;

"On public roads, the GTS rides firmer than the Carrera S (as expected) and there is more tire noise permeating the cabin (also expected), but our enthusiast side accepted the tradeoff as there isn't a road west of the Mississippi that poses even a remote challenge to the Porsche's capability."

Curious... why does it ride firmer than a CS if it doesn't have SPASM included? I'm assuming it sits lower than a CS, even before SPASM is applied?

The person writing the article doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'll believe it when the two are tested back to back. So far I am skeptical - there are a lot of claims about differences in steering, handling, etc. that aren't supported by known changes yet. That doesn't mean they aren't true, but I think some of the differences might be in the journalists' heads.

I have been curious as well and have not only posted the questions here but also wrote to PCNA about the exact differences. I have yet to hear from them.

I did see written some information that may shed some light on Stiffness in regards to the C2S and C4S, but haven't seen or rear anything about Firmness, or More road noise.

"The other key change has to do with the larger diameter front and rear anti-roll bars on the S models, those on the rear of the Carrera 4S being larger diameter still than those on the Carrera 4. The end effect here versus the Carrera 2 or Carrera 2S is simply greater overall stability and responsiveness, and better hook-up whenever needed."

I'm not sure that I believe that there are any changes. If there was, why wouldn't they mention it in this clip?

Well, at 1:20 to 1:30 he talks about "Sporttiness" being in between the Carerra S and GT3.

I need actual spec's from Damping, PASM Settings, Spring rates, and Sway bar thickness.

Who knows, I may like the firmer ride of the GTS CAB...
