New HRE install day!

Finally had time to install my HRE's. Have had them for a few months now!

They are: HRE Flowforms. FF01's IPA Bronze color Front 20x8.5 w/ ET50 and rear 20x11 ET60.

Fit perfectly. Look outstanding in my opinion!

While I was at it, I decided to clean up the calipers and fender wells and apply a ceramic coating to them to give them some protection, but mainly to assist in cleaning them. The caliper color deepened a little after the coating application. Looks good. Nice and slick and they should shed/repel the dust much easier now.

I also coated the wheels with a ceramic wheel coating to assist in the ease of cleaning.

I attached them with some black Titanium lug bolts from our forum member Kent996. Thanks Kent! They are awesome!

Onto the pictures!

Sizzle - the wheels look beautiful ... Perfect color for your car ... Couple of questions ... I am looking for a new floor Jack ...what type is yours and are you happy with it. I need something that can fit under my 991 and R8 so it has to be low.

Also I notice in most of your pictures your rear spoiler is up ... Did you find a way to keep it up all the time or are you pushing the button each time. I like the way my car looks with the rear wing up but because it resets itself after every restart I just end up leaving it down.

Looks gorgeous!

Two questions: What coating did you use for the calipers and wheels to repel the dust? And also, how happy are you with the quality of Flowforms compared to other HREs? I wouldn't mind doing a set myself!

Thanks. It's the Sport spoiler front lip. I got it from Suncoast. The flow forms are really impressive. Well made look great.

Thank you! I usually hit the button when I first fire it up. It then stays up all the time, much to the horror to a lot of people on the forums! I get my ***** broken a lot about it! However, I like it and that's all that matters! LOL

One jack is an OTC and the other I think I got at Harbor Freight. Both have been used much over the past years and they have held up/done their duty well.

The Flowforms are a very well made wheel. QC on them seem very good!

I used Pinnacle Black Label Diamond wheel coating on the calipers, wheels and wheel well liners. It has gotten very good reviews, and is very user friendly for a coating. I've used others as well that were not this 'friendly'.

I personally like the look better as well with the rear spoiler up I would like the option of keeping it in the up position.

And yes I know some here on the boards don't like it.

It's the carbon fiber Vorsteiner rear spoiler. Great fit, I think it looks good.
