Yay or nay? You're going to driving it so I would imagine what you want for options is more important than anyone else.

80K seems a little high for a 2012 base model.

I have the same color on my 2013 Boxster, it's a beautiful color. Congrats on your new purchased but I believe you paid too much for a base car. As long as you are happy, that is all that matters.
