2 SECOND HESITATION/STALL FROM DEAD STOP ON 2012.5 991 s

My 2012.5 991 911 S has a 2 second lag when i accelerate from a dead stop. Anyone else have the same problem when they try to punch the gas peddle and have to wait 2 seconds to take off?

Based on my experience, this is how this will go down:

1) You'll contact PCNA. They'll tell you to take it to your local dealer.

2) You'll take it to your local dealer and explain the issue. Their tech will drive the car and say that it's normal.

3) You'll try to follow up with PCNA but they'll tell you to take it to the dealer again. Repeat until you give up and lose hope.

Search this forum and Rennlist. I think you'll find that it's a common complaint with the PDK. Best of luck.

2 SECOND HESITATION/STALL FROM DEAD STOP ON 2012.5 991 s

With mine, the rpms dropped to near stall before it lurched forward. That was only in standard mode and when cold. What you're going through I haven't experienced yet.

Silly question....but are you sure you don't have the auto start/stop feature activated?

There's a slight delay with PDK, yes, maybe a half a second or so. But 2 seconds seems like something is wrong to me.

I really haven't noticed except when reversing and when I'm on slight inclines.

Kind of feel like the car needs to be "wound up" before it goes or when someone slips the clutch a little when starting off with a manual car.

Seems normal to me.

I watched several times and did not see any "2 second" delay before the car moved.

I agree - I sure didn't see anything. Perhaps he needs to say when he puts his foot down on the accelerator. Or better yet get a better camera view where we can see everything going on.

Two seconds is a long time for a throttle response. I think perhaps he's feeling a little delay (

No issues like that in my 2015 GTS with PDK.

This has been well documented in this and other forums, if you search PDK hesitation from stop you will see a long post but what you will not find is a solution.
