Xpel on GTS (beachwood porsche)

I just agreed to having my newly purchased GTS clear bra'd at Beachwood Porsche. Does anyone have recent experience with this dealer? Some forum posts have gotten me scared to do this at the dealership.

I am at a point where I can refuse the clear bra.

Thanks

I found a detailer that will claybar-wax & paint correct the entire car + install expel full front for the same cost that dealer would wash and install partial front. This detailer is reputable, has is own space, etc.

I mean this in the kindest way possible. Do NOT let the dealer wrap the car. I have weighed in on a recent post but to keep it short go to a specialist that just does wraps and details. Depending on your market board members can help. I have yet to see a dealer match the best independent wraps.

I am sure their are folks here who can recommend someone in Cleveland.

I read some posts as well which is what scared me. I am actually having the car shipped to the west coast. So I figured if they do a bad job I will just redo it when it gets here. Peace of mind I guess shipping a car to the west coast. Hopefully they do a good job and we all win. I'll keep everyone here updated. I know that independent wrappers will do a better job. As long as they don't wreck the car which I recently saw a post about. **cross fingers**

Beechwood did mine about a year ago on new 2015 TT. They did a nice job and guaranteed their work - although for me as for you, I suppose being far away would be hard to get adjusted if there were a problem. Looks as good today as when it was put on and certainly proved its value protecting from paint chips after a 5000 mi cross country trip.

These dealers use outside installers who they turn over like the weather many times. A great job a month ago or 2 yrs ago means nothing many times.

I know some dealers that rotate through who's available and who's cheapest at the time.

Buy the installer, not the dealer.
