Before the new regs, my 14' 991 came with the start/stop switch that can keep it off at every start but the sport button needed to be switched on at every time like yours. This guy http://t-design9.com/sport_mode_mod.html came up with a fix to have the sport button be activated at every start and turned off whenever. If you have the same setup and you would rather be in sport most of the time, check him out and it might take care of the start/stop annoyance too. You have to send the switch panel to him but the car is still driveable and it is a quick turnaround.
Very cool. Wish they had that for the 997.2
