Yesterday, I was sitting in the line at a pharmacy. The A/C stopped cooling and I simply thought something was wrong with it and that I would take it to the dealer. It was mid 90's outside and I hadnt been idling for more than 2 minutes. As I pulled off, the a/c got hotter and hotter. I checked the guages and noticed that the coolant and oil temp gauges were jumping around. The coolant gauge would jump from 201 to 250 in seconds.

i turned off the A/C, rolled down the windows, raised the spoiler and started moving up to 45 mph. The engine temp came down so I tried the A/C and it worked fine.

I was only a mile or so from the house so I went home. When i pulled in to the garage, the fans were on, but shut off a few seconds after turning off the car.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Ive scheduled an appointment to get the car checked out.

edit: Oh no warning lights on the dash went off... really strange...

Sounds like a battery drain, maybe something wrong with the battery?
