While I like current PCM for it's speed and UI - I was never able to see any traffic information on map - or get route based on traffic.
(Yes, I tried to turn on/off traffic 'layer' on the map - no difference).

I do have att sim installed and I tried to use in-car WIFI to get data from my phone - no difference.

Is it me or it's known issue?

 

In the 991.1 NAV traffic information is provided through the satellite radio subscription. Not sure if yours is the same.

 

I do have sirius XM subscription too - doesnt make any difference.

 

Not sure about the 991.2.

The 991.1 requires a Sirius/XM subscription with the purchase of an add-on for the traffic. There's an extra charge for traffic info.

 

No - 991.2 using sim card or wifi hotspot to get traffic and other information from online - no more sirius.
Looks like I figured out what was going with my PCM.

Turns out that my "trial" att sim card (3 month/3gb data - comes with new car) wasn't activated - and when it was still showing "lte" on screen - actually it wasn't working. I did register sim card at att.com/porsche and everything started to work.
