About to pull trigger on 991TT - help!

Hi everyone.

Okay so I found a 2015 991 TT and I have agreed with the private seller on the price. I have never purchased this amount from a private seller and could use your help.

What is the process that I need to consider so that the wire transfer exchanges hands and I get exactly what I bought?
1. Do I wire the money to a 3rd party and confirm that I received the car?
2. Do I wire the money directly to him only when the vehicle is on the shipping truck?
3. Do I wire the money when I actually get the car?

Or is an alternative option is to use a Porsche dealership to help with the transaction?

It's a 2 day trip so how long can I keep it on? Are there any tricks or things I should know or do when putting it on?

Get the 2" size. A friend of mine drove his Cab from Austin to Tahoe and loaded up the front end. Said it worked great.

Where is the car? Where do you live? I'll drive it back for you, I'm retired!

If you decide to have it shipped I would highly suggest Intercity. I have used the other one (orange trucks) and was highly disappointed, also used Passport and was satisfied. I have nothing but praise for Intercity and will never use anyone else. No affiliation with them except their excellent customer service and professional driver and delivery.

I decided to go for a 2014 Turbo instead of C4S - you only live once!
I will have the car shipped and definitely take your suggestion. Thank you!

Tape Looks Workable

Wish I had known about painters tape fix. Just bought a C4S in Houston and drove it back to Dallas w/o protection.

Check out road wrap. It's temp. Just make sure it's stuck down (doesn't flap on the edges) and don't put it on the headlights (don't know if it would be a problem on a Porsche light but some lights have a film on them already and it might pull it up.
